Olive Garden Salad Dressing the Traditional Foods Way


I’ll pass on the high fructose corn syrup in my salad dressing, thankyouverymuch.

In fact, I’ll make my own!

Here is an AMAZINGLY addictive HEALTHY take on Olive Garden’s irresistable salad dressing!


Olive Garden Salad the Traditional Foods Way

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 c.  mayonnaise  preferably homemade

  2. 1/3 c. white wine vinegar

  3. 1 tsp. olive oil

  4. 2 tb. honey

  5. 2 tb. each of grated Parmesan cheese and Romano cheese

  6. 1 clove of garlic crushed

  7. 1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning

  8. 1/2 tsp. parsley

  9. 1 Tb. lemon juice

  10. dash of salt and pepper

Instructions

Pulse all ingredients in a blender until thoroughly combined and cheeses are finely minced.  Drizzle over a green salad to taste and voila! No preservatives or corn syrup here!

Recommended salad toppings:

  1. diced tomatoes

  2. thin sliced purple/red onions

  3. homemade croutons

  4. pepperoncinis

  5. grated Parmesan cheese
